Ten days with a fluff butt

As I mentioned earlier, part of this year’s nomading includes folding in a few Trusted Housesitter gigs, and one of the sits I was selected for was for an 18 month old Great Pyrenees named Shiloh in San Luis Obispo. We strolled in the parks, we hiked in the foothills, we wandered the Thursday farmer’s market which were closer to a street festival. There wasn’t a lot of time for anything other than Shiloh during the week other than the usual chores and gym, and for Larry, a business trip to Boise. But we did manage to take some very pretty afternoon hikes in the surrounding areas. And on our last day with Shiloh we brought him to visit the elephant seals and then took him for a nice long walk on the beach at Morro Bay. He seemed a very happy dog. I was very sad to leave Shiloh. He really stole my heart.
