We spent the past two weeks with the family together again. Elliot arrived for a summer vacation and we felt whole. We enjoyed lots of quality time in the most beautiful corner of the world. We got to celebrate Doodles’ birthday by seeing Tom Rush in concert. We got to celebrate Larry’s birthday with a cookout, dinner on the beach, and a epic pickin-n-grinnin’ session in the yellow camp. We were able to visit with friends and family, many of whom had not seen the kids in years. Nana and Elliot got to play lots of games. Elliot and Meredith got some great sibling travel time. Larry and Elliot got in some great hiking. Doodles and Elliot got in lots of fishing. And Elliot and I had a wonderful day out in Portland. It was hard to say goodbye to E, but we already have plans to see everyone in December. Holidays will be here before we know it, right? Below are a pile of pics from the time we had together.
