Hello, my people!!! I, too, only dress in black until they invent something darker. Truly, I am where I belong.

So, yes, our first official stop on our Empty Nest Wanderings is New York City. We arrived in Manhattan yesterday, and so far today I’ve walked 20,000 steps and swam 1000 yards, found some interesting pockets of the city (floral shops, Indian cuisine, wigs and costumes, jewelry), read in the park, and shopped for tonight’s dinner. We are happily ensconced in the Murray Hill neighborhood where we will stay for two months. I am very much looking forward to digging in.
